Aug 15th...To celebrate Ethel Hopcraft's 100th birthday and her years of support and leadership in our church, Norm and Catherine Webb assist Joy and Susan with the planting of an ornamental " burning bush" in the Prayer Garden. What a wonderful finale to our Aug. 15th outdoor service.

Our Aug 8th service celebrated our 141st anniversary.. The service was held in the Prayer Garden with Rev. Smith leading worship and guest organist Birgit Finnigan providing music for our hymns. At the end of the service, Clerk of Session Chris Eastmure took the opportunity to thank outgoing Clerk John MacLachlan for 19 years of dedicated service in that role. He was presented with a certificate and a spruce tree that was planted in the Prayer Garden to honour his contribution to our church.

​LIFE OF THE CHURCHES:
Current Covid-19 Restrictions allow up to 100 persons gathering outdoors if adequately spaced, and up to 50% of room capacity for indoor gatherings if adequately spaced and masked.
ALL CHURCHES: We ask your continuing prayers for Rev Dr Walter Winger, recuperating in hospital following surgery, and for Lois and their family.
Knox Sundridge: We will be worshipping in the Sanctuary now that cooler weather is here; we estimate our capacity at 45 persons adequately spaced and masked.
“Coffee Hour” is now reinvented as “F.A.C.E. Time” (which stands for “Fellowship And Cookies EVERYONE!” Downstairs right after the service.
“Pony Express” delivery of Home Worship Kits continues for folks unable to attend worship and/or unable to access our website; please let Rev Smith know if you (or someone you know) wish to be added to the list.
St. Andrew’s Burk’s Falls: We continue to worship in the basement (until restoration work in the Sanctuary is completed) where we can accommodate at least 30 persons with ad-equate spacing and masks.

Knox Magnetawan: We continue to worship in the Sanctuary, where we can now accommodate up to 45 persons with adequate spacing and masks. Congregants are invited to gather in small groups for chats outside after the service, but not in the Lobby area or in the Sanctuary before service.
